Cotubic Summer Camps
Camp Cotubic offers Christian summer camps in Ohio for kids and teens. Our summer camp sessions are programmed based on the age group of campers. Youth from second grade through high school are invited to spend a week at our camp where everyone can enjoy a safe, loving environment where long lasting friendships are formed.
Whether it’s the first time at camp or the tenth stay with us, campers always leave summer camp longing to return. With so many fun activities, our campers and counselors always have a great time together. In fact, we often hear campers say, “I want to stay all summer” or “That was the best week of my life!” We’re proud to say that every summer our bunks are filled with excited campers. Voyager Camp – $290

Cotubic Summer Camp Activities
During a week of summer camp, students have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

- 180-foot Slip-n-Slide
- High Ropes Challenge Course (middle & high school only)

What is a Christian Summer Camp
Along with the regular summer camp activities of hiking and eating S’mores around a campfire, we give our campers the opportunity to experience Christ every day. Our summer staff leads cabin devotions, prays with students, and engages in spiritual conversations with campers. We also have chapel services with engaging Christian speakers and bands. It is our hope that campers don’t just hear about Christ but experience him in a very real, personal way.
What Makes Our Summer Camp Counselors So Great
We’re very picky when hiring summer counselors. After all, they live on site all summer long and stay in cabins with the campers for our own camps. Our counselors must pass background checks and participate in a through two week staff training. After which they can focus on campers and engage in activities and conversations with them. During staff training, our summer counselors share ideas and practice creating the best week of summer camp possible. We hire a staff with diverse personalities to ensure we will relate to your child.
Summer Camp Safety
Camper safety and supervision is our biggest priority at Camp Cotubic. Every member on our staff completes FBI and BCI screenings as well as two weeks of staff training and certification. During summer camp, we always have an RN or EMT on site to respond to medical emergencies. We also have a 7:1 camper to summer staff ratio to ensure we have a protective eye on each camper.
Summer Camp Meals and Dining
Food is served cafeteria style. Every day at summer camp we provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and often an evening snack. Students also can make purchases at the snack shack, but we take care to ensure campers eat ‘real food’ and avoid dehydration. If your child has special dietary needs or restrictions, please call us so we can figure out how to best serve your child.
